Super Bowl Return to 2025 Past Results
Not the most exciting Super Bowl, as the Seattle defense completely smothered the Patriots for most of the game, resulting in 6 sacks against New England (ho-hum) and 5 Seattle field goals (yawn). Patriots quarterback Drake May came alive with a couple of touchdown passes in the fourth quarter, but it was WAY too little, WAY too late, and the Seahawks easily flew away with the Lombardi Trophy. And the long-awaited halftime show with Grammy-winning Bad Bunny was an ambitious production from the sugar cane fields of Puerto Rico with a message of togetherness and love over hate, but .... what was that he was saying??

And in the Playoff Pool, it was billed as the Battle of the Commishes, as Ex-Commissioner Barry and the Patriots squared off against the current commissioner and the Seahawks. In the end, Commish Kevver (for the second year in a row) turned a losing season into a big win by taking the gold in the Playoff Pool. And, also like last year, he was joined on the podium by Valerie A, who did her happy dance after taking the silver medal. And Rick K (we knew it would happen) came in 3rd Place yet again, but was ECSTATIC by tying with two others (Ken Z and Kevin L) for the Super Bowl Score prize.

Thanks to all for another season of football fun, as our thoughts now turn to the Olympics and skiing, skating and curling .... "USA-USA-USA!" Hope to see you all again next fall!
